February Winter Storm

Heavy snow and high winds hit Virginia after a historic winter storm on Feb. 5-6 brought record snowfall and hazardous conditions to many parts of Virginia.

9:25 a.m. Power Outage update

As of 9 a.m., about 60,000 electric customers are without power in Virginia. Companies are working around the clock to restore electric service.

Virginia Department of Transportation crews have worked closely with power companies to open access to difficult locations.
